François Leleux makes his eagerly anticipated Orchestre de Paris debuts on 14 and 15 May. González-Monjas conducts composer and organist Thierry Escaich’s Double concerto pour violon et hautbois, featuring Leleux with violinist Lisa Batiashvili. This work is also featured on Leleux’s new Pentatone release, Forgotten Horizons: Escaich, Bacri & Jarrell, available from Friday, 16 May. The programme also includes Escaich performing his own Improvisations à l’orgue and joining Bach’s Concerto pour violon et hautbois.
