Eminent oboist and conductor François Leleux has been announced as the Artistic Director of Kammerakademie Potsdam for the 2025/26 season

Eminent oboist and conductor François Leleux has been announced as the Artistic Director of Kammerakademie Potsdam for the 2025/26 season. In anticipation of Leleux taking over from current Artistic Director Antonello Manacorda in the Summer of 2025, audiences will be able to see him conduct the orchestra in the Nikolaisaal Potsdam on 1 March 2025.

“Making music with the Kammerakademie Potsdam is a joy and a fascinating challenge. The musicians are fantastic and open to new ideas. It will be an important and exciting time in my life as an artist. A feast for the ears,” said Leleux per an official press release.

His artistic expertise, his innovative program ideas and his unifying way of bringing stage and audience together make him a wonderful partner for the KAP and for Potsdam,” added Adriana Kussmaul, the Managing Director.
