FRANÇOIS LELEUX DEBUTS WITH ENGLISH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

After his London debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra this past Autumn, François Leleux returns to the UK to make his debut with the English Chamber Orchestra as conductor and soloist for concerts in London on March 2 and in Sheffield on March 6. Leleux presents a programme with works by Mozart, Penderecki and Mendelssohn.

Leleux then returns to Scotland in May to conduct the Scottish Chamber Orchestra with a programme of Mendelssohn and Helen Grime. The concerts mark the Scottish premiere of Helen Grime’s Percussion Concerto with soloist Colin Currie. You can also have a first glimpse of the fruit of Leleux’s successful collaboration with the Orchestra by pre-ordering the latest recording released on Linn Records, featuring music by Gounod and Bizet. It will be released on March 13.
