FRANÇOIS LELEUX RETURNS TO THE SALZBURG MOZARTWOCHE

On 2 February François Leleux returns to the Mozartwoche in the Mozarteum, appearing as both conductor and soloist with the Camerata Salzburg.

On 2 February François Leleux returns to the Mozartwoche in the Mozarteum, appearing as both conductor and soloist with the Camerata Salzburg.

Leleux takes to the podium to conduct Mozart’s Symphony No.25, Symphony No.31 and Hummel’s Potpourri (Fantasy) for Viola & Orchestra in G minor, featuring soloist Antoine Támestit. Leleux completes the programme with a play/direct performance of Hummel’s Introduction, Theme and Variations for Oboe and Orchestra.

Later in February Leleux will perform Hummel’s Introduction, Theme and Variations with the Utah Symphony Orchestra in with Thierry Fischer, alongside the US premiere of Jarrell’s Oboe Concerto Aquateinte – the world premiere of which Leleux performed with hr-Sinfonieorchester in October 2016.
